39,600 registered bed nights

In June 2020, 39,600 registered bed nights were recorded in Tanum (-45.3 %), of which 38,500 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 1,100 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 19 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 96 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 45 percent from last year's June.

2,800 rooms (-58.5 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 840 rooms (-44.2 %) by business visitors.

Between January and June, 102,000 registered bed nights (-16.2 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 13,000 (-80.4 %) for foreigners in Tanum, in total 115,000 (-38.8 %) registered nights.

Market share 1.1 percent

Total of 3.7 million registered bed nights (-48.4 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.4 million nights (-32.3 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 257,000 nights (-87.6 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Tanum out of total registered bed nights was 1.1 % (+0.1 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 1.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.4 %.

15,500 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 51 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 96.7 percent were domestic, and 3.3 percent were from foreign countries.

During June, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Tanum on average 2.6 nights (+0.05) and foreigners 2.1 nights (+0.22).

Registered January-June sales were 24.7 million SEK and they decreased 17.7 million euro from the previous year.
