4,000 registered bed nights

In October 2019, 4,000 bed nights were recorded in Tidaholm (-1.7 %), of which 3,700 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 260 nights by foreigners. Domestic bed nights increased 17 percent and foreign bed nights decreased 70 percent. In total, bed nights decreased two percent from last year's October.

Most foreign bed nights were recorded for travelers from Denmark (54 nights).

460 rooms (+150.2 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 740 rooms (-16.3 %) by business visitors.

Between January and October, 43,400 bed nights (-19.9 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 6,800 (-46.2 %) for foreigners in Tidaholm, in total 50,200 (-24.8 %) nights.

Total of 4.1 million bed nights (+3.8 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.1 million nights (+5.8 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 936,000 nights (-2.2 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Tidaholm out of total bed nights was 0.1 % (-0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.0 %.

1,200 tourists arrived to accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 15 percent compared to earlier year. Of all arrivals, 93.3 percent were domestic, and 6.7 percent were from foreign countries.

During October, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Tidaholm on average 3.2 nights (+0.51) and foreigners 3.1 nights (+0.01).
