Tidaholm: Tourism in a nutshell
Registered accommodation. All changes are relative to the same period a year ago.
Registered bed nights increased 87 percent
In May 2022, 12,300 registered bed nights were recorded in Tidaholm (+86.6 %), of which 11,200 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 1,100 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 73 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 650 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 87 percent from last year's May.
410 rooms (+146.1 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 740 rooms (+77.2 %) by business visitors.
Between January and May, 31,200 registered bed nights (+53.1 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 2,900 (+405.7 %) for foreigners in Tidaholm, in total 34,200 (+62.8 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.

4,900 tourists arrived to registered accommodation
Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 111 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 92.6 percent were domestic, and 7.4 percent were from foreign countries.
During May, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Tidaholm on average 2.5 nights (-0.37) and foreigners 3.2 nights (-0.45).
