Registered bed nights increased 27 percent

In June 2020, 8,000 registered bed nights were recorded in Tidaholm (+26.9 %), of which 7,700 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 230 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 38 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 65 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 27 percent from last year's June.

179 rooms (-54.0 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 540 rooms (-29.1 %) by business visitors.

Between January and June, 22,100 registered bed nights (+21.4 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 580 (-65.3 %) for foreigners in Tidaholm, in total 22,700 (+14.2 %) registered nights.

Market share 0.2 percent

Total of 3.7 million registered bed nights (-48.4 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.4 million nights (-32.3 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 257,000 nights (-87.6 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Tidaholm out of total registered bed nights was 0.2 % (+0.1 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.2 % and foreign bed nights 0.1 %.

2,800 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 24 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 97.8 percent were domestic, and 2.2 percent were from foreign countries.

During June, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Tidaholm on average 2.8 nights (+0.05) and foreigners 3.6 nights (+0.81).
