Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased 161 percent

In March 2021, 3,500 registered bed nights were recorded in Tidaholm (+161.4 %), of which 3,400 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 137 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 164 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 117 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 161 percent from last year's March.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Denmark (105 nights).

138 rooms (+13.0 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 410 rooms (+181.4 %) by business visitors.

Between January and March, 9,400 registered bed nights (+108.8 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 310 (+4.0 %) for foreigners in Tidaholm, in total 9,800 (+102.3 %) registered nights.

Total of 2.9 million registered bed nights (+2.8 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.7 million nights (+11.1 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 218,000 nights (-46.3 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Tidaholm out of total registered bed nights was 0.1 % (+0.1 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.1 %.

Length of stay increased 22 percent in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased 22 percent compared to earlier year. In Tidaholm, length of stay in March was on average 3.7 nights and in Sweden 3.2 nights (+21.8 %).

During March, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Tidaholm on average 3.5 nights (+31.4 %) and foreigners 17 nights (+406.5 %).

960 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 115 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 99.2 percent were domestic, and 0.8 percent were from foreign countries.

During March, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Tidaholm on average 3.5 nights (+0.5) and foreigners 17 nights (+15).
