Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased 63 percent

In June 2022, 12,800 registered bed nights were recorded in Tidaholm (+63.0 %), of which 11,200 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 1,600 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 47 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 510 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 63 percent from last year's June.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Germany (480 nights).

590 rooms (+75.4 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 600 rooms (-15.8 %) by business visitors.

Between January and June, 42,400 registered bed nights (+51.5 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 4,600 (+438.3 %) for foreigners in Tidaholm, in total 47,000 (+62.9 %) registered nights.

Total of 6.9 million registered bed nights (+39.7 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 5.2 million nights (+17.3 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 1.6 million nights (+259.5 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Tidaholm out of total registered bed nights was 0.2 % (0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.2 % and foreign bed nights 0.1 %.

Length of stay was 2.6 nights in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation decreased two percent compared to earlier year. In Tidaholm, length of stay in June was on average 2.6 nights and in Sweden 1.9 nights (-13.2 %).

During June, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Tidaholm on average 2.6 nights (-8.4 %) and foreigners 2.7 nights (-34.8 %).

5,000 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 66 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 87.8 percent were domestic, and 12.2 percent were from foreign countries.

During June, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Tidaholm on average 2.6 nights (-0.08) and foreigners 2.7 nights (+0.23).
