Registered bed nights increased 31 percent (September 2019)

In September 2019, 2,100 bed nights were recorded in Timrå (+31.2 %), of which 1,700 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 440 nights by foreigners. Domestic bed nights increased 17 percent and foreign bed nights increased 154 percent. In total, bed nights increased 31 percent from last year's September.

124 rooms (-16.8 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 840 rooms (+49.5 %) by business visitors.

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased one percent compared to earlier year. Of all arrivals, 89.0 percent were domestic, and 11.0 percent were from foreign countries.

During September, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Timrå on average 2.0 nights (+0.29) and foreigners 4.3 nights (+2.7).
