Timrå: Tourism in a nutshell

Registered bed nights increased 11 percent
In May 2022, 2,300 registered bed nights were recorded in Timrå (+11.5 %), of which 2,100 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 240 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased two percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 610 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 11 percent from last year's May.
310 rooms (+110.3 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 360 rooms (+87.1 %) by business visitors.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 55 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 85.4 percent were domestic, and 14.6 percent were from foreign countries.
During May, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Timrå on average 2.0 nights (-0.65) and foreigners 1.3 nights (-0.53).
