Registered bed nights increased 54 percent

In April 2021, 4,600 registered bed nights were recorded in Tingsryd (+54.5 %), of which 4,200 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 380 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 46 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 350 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 54 percent from last year's April.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Germany (141 nights).

200 rooms (+278.6 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 530 rooms (+60.1 %) by business visitors.

Between January and April, 8,700 registered bed nights (+15.1 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 750 (+0.0 %) for foreigners in Tingsryd, in total 9,500 (+13.8 %) registered nights.

Market share 0.2 percent

Total of 2.6 million registered bed nights (+102.2 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.3 million nights (+103.3 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 218,000 nights (+90.8 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Tingsryd out of total registered bed nights was 0.2 % (-0.1 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.2 % and foreign bed nights 0.2 %.

1,600 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 36 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 96.2 percent were domestic, and 3.8 percent were from foreign countries.

During April, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Tingsryd on average 2.7 nights (+0.25) and foreigners 6.2 nights (+1.2).
