Tingsryd: Tourism in a nutshell
Registered accommodation. All changes are relative to the same period a year ago.
Registered bed nights increased five percent
In August 2022, 52,500 registered bed nights were recorded in Tingsryd (+4.6 %), of which 12,100 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 40,400 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 10 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 10 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased five percent from last year's August.
1,600 rooms (+21.7 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 670 rooms (+35.5 %) by business visitors.
Between January and August, 71,000 registered bed nights (+1.9 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 111,000 (+43.9 %) for foreigners in Tingsryd, in total 182,000 (+23.9 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 15 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 21.2 percent were domestic, and 78.8 percent were from foreign countries.
During August, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Tingsryd on average 4.2 nights (+0.76) and foreigners 3.8 nights (+0.76).
