Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased 19 percent

In June 2019, 24,900 registered bed nights were recorded in Tingsryd (+19.5 %), of which 11,700 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 13,200 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased three percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 38 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 19 percent from last year's June.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Germany (9,100 nights).

800 rooms (+140.5 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 470 rooms (-32.7 %) by business visitors.

Between January and June, 33,800 registered bed nights (+5.4 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 18,600 (+22.0 %) for foreigners in Tingsryd, in total 52,400 (+10.8 %) registered nights.

Total of 7.1 million registered bed nights (+7.5 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 5.0 million nights (+8.2 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 2.1 million nights (+5.9 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Tingsryd out of total registered bed nights was 0.4 % (0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.2 % and foreign bed nights 0.6 %.

Length of stay increased 17 percent in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased 17 percent compared to earlier year. In Tingsryd, length of stay in June was on average 3.2 nights and in Sweden 2.1 nights (+4.2 %).

During June, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Tingsryd on average 3.5 nights (+8.9 %) and foreigners 2.9 nights (+4.7 %).

7,800 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased two percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 42.4 percent were domestic, and 57.6 percent were from foreign countries.

During June, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Tingsryd on average 3.5 nights (+0.73) and foreigners 2.9 nights (+0.31).
