In July 2020, 19,700 registered bed nights were recorded in Tjörn (-9.1 %), of which 18,700 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 960 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 22 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 85 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased nine percent from last year's July.
Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Norway (400 nights).
4,100 rooms (-15.5 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 290 rooms (-46.2 %) by business visitors.
Between January and July, 43,000 registered bed nights (-6.7 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 3,600 (-72.0 %) for foreigners in Tjörn, in total 46,600 (-20.8 %) registered nights.

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased 15 percent compared to earlier year. In Tjörn, length of stay in July was on average 4.6 nights and in Sweden 2.4 nights (-0.2 %).
During July, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Tjörn on average 4.7 nights (+28.9 %) and foreigners 3.5 nights (-2.2 %).
