Registered bed nights increased 164 percent
In November 2021, 6,400 registered bed nights were recorded in Tjörn (+164.0 %), of which 5,600 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 740 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 168 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 136 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 164 percent from last year's November.
1,600 rooms (+109.2 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 2,300 rooms (+228.6 %) by business visitors.
Between January and November, 134,000 registered bed nights (+102.6 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 9,400 (+64.8 %) for foreigners in Tjörn, in total 143,000 (+99.6 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.
