Registered bed nights increased 52 percent

In April 2021, 2,500 registered bed nights were recorded in Tomelilla (+51.6 %), of which 2,400 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 106 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 49 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 121 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 52 percent from last year's April.

1,200 rooms (+51.2 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 158 rooms (+66.5 %) by business visitors.

Between January and April, 6,200 registered bed nights (-3.4 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 280 (-33.7 %) for foreigners in Tomelilla, in total 6,500 (-5.3 %) registered nights.

Total of 2.6 million registered bed nights (+102.2 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.3 million nights (+103.3 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 218,000 nights (+90.8 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Tomelilla out of total registered bed nights was 0.1 % (-0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.0 %.

1,600 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 43 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 98.6 percent were domestic, and 1.4 percent were from foreign countries.

During April, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Tomelilla on average 1.5 nights (+0.08) and foreigners 4.6 nights (-0.72).
