Registered bed nights increased 62 percent

In December 2021, 1,700 registered bed nights were recorded in Tomelilla (+61.7 %), of which 1,700 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 70 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 59 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 141 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 62 percent from last year's December.

850 rooms (+68.9 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 155 rooms (+53.5 %) by business visitors.

Between January and December, 48,100 registered bed nights (+23.9 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 3,600 (+45.3 %) for foreigners in Tomelilla, in total 51,800 (+25.2 %) registered nights.

Total of 3.4 million registered bed nights (+85.2 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.8 million nights (+74.9 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 553,000 nights (+166.0 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Tomelilla out of total registered bed nights was 0.1 % (-0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.0 %.

1,500 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 77 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 96.6 percent were domestic, and 3.4 percent were from foreign countries.

During December, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Tomelilla on average 1.1 nights (-0.09) and foreigners 1.4 nights (-2.8).
