Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased two percent

In June 2019, 5,500 registered bed nights were recorded in Tomelilla (+1.6 %), of which 4,800 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 720 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased four percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 11 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased two percent from last year's June.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Germany (240 nights).

2,300 rooms (+50.3 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 220 rooms (-13.9 %) by business visitors.

Between January and June, 17,800 registered bed nights (+11.0 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 1,900 (-12.0 %) for foreigners in Tomelilla, in total 19,800 (+8.3 %) registered nights.

Total of 7.1 million registered bed nights (+7.5 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 5.0 million nights (+8.2 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 2.1 million nights (+5.9 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Tomelilla out of total registered bed nights was 0.1 % (-0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.0 %.

Length of stay was 1.7 nights in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation decreased five percent compared to earlier year. In Tomelilla, length of stay in June was on average 1.7 nights and in Sweden 2.1 nights (+4.2 %).

During June, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Tomelilla on average 1.7 nights (-1.9 %) and foreigners 2.2 nights (+13.0 %).
