10,700 registered bed nights

In September 2019, 10,700 bed nights were recorded in Torsby (-9.3 %), of which 8,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 2,700 nights by foreigners. Domestic bed nights decreased eight percent and foreign bed nights decreased 13 percent. In total, bed nights decreased nine percent from last year's September.

1,400 rooms (+28.6 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 980 rooms (-37.0 %) by business visitors.

Between January and September, 108,000 bed nights (-10.8 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 68,900 (-4.1 %) for foreigners in Torsby, in total 177,000 (-8.3 %) nights.

Total of 4.5 million bed nights (+2.0 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.4 million nights (+3.2 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 1.2 million nights (-1.1 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Torsby out of total bed nights was 0.2 % (-0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.2 % and foreign bed nights 0.2 %.

4,400 tourists arrived to accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 16 percent compared to earlier year. Of all arrivals, 73.2 percent were domestic, and 26.8 percent were from foreign countries.

During September, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Torsby on average 2.5 nights (+0.27) and foreigners 2.3 nights (-0.05).
