Registered bed nights increased 108 percent

In April 2021, 4,000 registered bed nights were recorded in Tranås (+107.7 %), of which 3,800 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 200 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 104 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 220 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 108 percent from last year's April.

580 rooms (+50.4 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,000 rooms (+45.8 %) by business visitors.

Between January and April, 12,800 registered bed nights (+24.1 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 590 (-18.0 %) for foreigners in Tranås, in total 13,400 (+21.3 %) registered nights.

Total of 2.6 million registered bed nights (+102.2 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.3 million nights (+103.3 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 218,000 nights (+90.8 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Tranås out of total registered bed nights was 0.2 % (0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.2 % and foreign bed nights 0.1 %.

1,800 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 96 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 94.6 percent were domestic, and 5.4 percent were from foreign countries.

During April, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Tranås on average 2.2 nights (+0.14) and foreigners 2.1 nights (-0.15).
