Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased 30 percent

In March 2021, 3,300 registered bed nights were recorded in Tranås (+29.6 %), of which 3,200 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 123 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 32 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased eight percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 30 percent from last year's March.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Germany (11 nights).

520 rooms (-21.8 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 790 rooms (-21.2 %) by business visitors.

Between January and March, 8,900 registered bed nights (+6.2 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 390 (-40.7 %) for foreigners in Tranås, in total 9,300 (+2.8 %) registered nights.

Total of 2.9 million registered bed nights (+2.8 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.7 million nights (+11.1 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 218,000 nights (-46.3 %) by foreigners.

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased 66 percent compared to earlier year. In Tranås, length of stay in March was on average 3.5 nights and in Sweden 3.2 nights (+21.8 %).
