10,800 registered bed nights

In June 2020, 10,800 registered bed nights were recorded in Trelleborg (-30.5 %), of which 9,800 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 980 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 13 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 77 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 31 percent from last year's June.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Germany (560 nights).

1,300 rooms (-41.8 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 680 rooms (-56.1 %) by business visitors.

Between January and June, 23,400 registered bed nights (-20.6 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 3,200 (-67.1 %) for foreigners in Trelleborg, in total 26,600 (-32.1 %) registered nights.

Market share 0.3 percent

Total of 3.7 million registered bed nights (-48.4 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.4 million nights (-32.3 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 257,000 nights (-87.6 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Trelleborg out of total registered bed nights was 0.3 % (+0.1 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.3 % and foreign bed nights 0.4 %.

5,300 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 37 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 86.1 percent were domestic, and 13.9 percent were from foreign countries.

During June, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Trelleborg on average 2.2 nights (+0.1) and foreigners 1.3 nights (-0.11).
