Trelleborg: Tourism in a nutshell
Registered accommodation. All changes are relative to the same period a year ago.
Registered bed nights increased 33 percent
In May 2022, 15,900 registered bed nights were recorded in Trelleborg (+33.2 %), of which 14,100 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 1,800 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 23 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 280 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 33 percent from last year's May.
2,400 rooms (+60.1 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 2,400 rooms (+50.1 %) by business visitors.
Between January and May, 31,200 registered bed nights (+48.6 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 4,400 (+172.0 %) for foreigners in Trelleborg, in total 35,600 (+57.4 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.

7,500 tourists arrived to registered accommodation
Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 70 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 84.7 percent were domestic, and 15.3 percent were from foreign countries.
During May, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Trelleborg on average 2.2 nights (-0.51) and foreigners 1.6 nights (-0.63).

Registered January-May sales were 14.4 million SEK and they increased 5.6 million SEK from the previous year.
