In December 2018, 2,700 registered bed nights were recorded in Trelleborg (-13.1 %), of which 2,100 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 630 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 24 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 60 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 13 percent from last year's December.
620 rooms (+14.8 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 990 rooms (+53.3 %) by business visitors.
Between January and December, 72,400 registered bed nights (-28.2 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 24,800 (+0.5 %) for foreigners in Trelleborg, in total 97,200 (-22.6 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.

During December, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Trelleborg on average 1.4 nights (-16.1 %) and foreigners 2.4 nights (+5.0 %).
