Registered bed nights increased 67 percent
In December 2021, 5,800 registered bed nights were recorded in Trollhättan (+67.4 %), of which 5,300 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 490 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 69 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 51 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 67 percent from last year's December.
1,100 rooms (+50.6 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 2,800 rooms (+59.6 %) by business visitors.
Between January and December, 99,100 registered bed nights (+2.2 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 12,900 (+44.5 %) for foreigners in Trollhättan, in total 112,000 (+5.7 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels, campsites, and commercially arranged rentals in private cottages and apartments. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 124 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 92.6 percent were domestic, and 7.4 percent were from foreign countries.
During December, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Trollhättan on average 1.3 nights (-0.39) and foreigners 1.5 nights (-1.7).
