9,100 registered bed nights

In September 2020, 9,100 registered bed nights were recorded in Trollhättan (-25.8 %), of which 8,100 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 950 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 16 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 62 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 26 percent from last year's September.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from United States (230 nights).

1,600 rooms (-45.7 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 4,500 rooms (-17.6 %) by business visitors.

Between January and September, 79,700 registered bed nights (-21.7 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 6,900 (-80.6 %) for foreigners in Trollhättan, in total 86,700 (-37.1 %) registered nights.

Total of 3.1 million registered bed nights (-30.6 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.7 million nights (-19.9 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 441,000 nights (-61.9 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Trollhättan out of total registered bed nights was 0.3 % (0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.3 % and foreign bed nights 0.2 %.

5,100 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 38 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 91.8 percent were domestic, and 8.2 percent were from foreign countries.

During September, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Trollhättan on average 1.7 nights (+0.31) and foreigners 2.3 nights (+0.47).
