Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased 29 percent

In February 2023, 7,700 registered bed nights were recorded in Trollhättan (+29.2 %), of which 6,100 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 1,600 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 25 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 50 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 29 percent from last year's February.

1,600 rooms (+56.7 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 3,700 rooms (+24.3 %) by business visitors.

Between January and February, 12,000 registered bed nights (+35.9 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 3,000 (+61.5 %) for foreigners in Trollhättan, in total 15,000 (+40.3 %) registered nights.

Market share 0.2 percent

Total of 3.5 million registered bed nights (+20.1 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.8 million nights (+17.1 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 756,000 nights (+32.3 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Trollhättan out of total registered bed nights was 0.2 % (0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.2 % and foreign bed nights 0.2 %.

Length of stay was 1.3 nights in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation decreased five percent compared to earlier year. In Trollhättan, length of stay in February was on average 1.3 nights and in Sweden 1.9 nights (-5.0 %).

During February, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Trollhättan on average 1.3 nights (+3.6 %) and foreigners 1.3 nights (+11.4 %).

5,900 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 36 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 78.1 percent were domestic, and 21.9 percent were from foreign countries.

During February, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Trollhättan on average 1.3 nights (-0.07) and foreigners 1.3 nights (-0.04).
