3,000 registered bed nights

In April 2020, 3,000 registered bed nights were recorded in Trollhättan (-69.1 %), of which 2,900 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 74 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 64 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 95 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 69 percent from last year's April.

380 rooms (-77.0 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,500 rooms (-66.7 %) by business visitors.

Between January and April, 22,900 registered bed nights (-27.8 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 2,900 (-63.7 %) for foreigners in Trollhättan, in total 25,800 (-35.0 %) registered nights.

The market share of Trollhättan out of total registered bed nights was 0.2 % (0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.3 % and foreign bed nights 0.1 %.

Length of stay increased 15 percent in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased 15 percent compared to earlier year. In Trollhättan, length of stay in April was on average 2.2 nights and in Sweden 2.5 nights (+16.7 %).

During April, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Trollhättan on average 2.2 nights (-6.4 %) and foreigners 2.0 nights (-16.4 %).

1,400 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 73 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 97.3 percent were domestic, and 2.7 percent were from foreign countries.

During April, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Trollhättan on average 2.2 nights (+0.37) and foreigners 2.0 nights (-0.4).
