Registered bed nights increased 108 percent

In November 2021, 177,000 registered bed nights were recorded in Trøndelag (+107.9 %), of which 165,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 11,700 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 113 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 59 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 108 percent from last year's November.

62,800 nights (+96.1 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 70,100 nights (+102.4 %) by business visitors.

Between January and November, 2.0 million registered bed nights (+9.7 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 255,000 (+46.6 %) for foreigners in Trøndelag, in total 2.2 million (+13.0 %) registered nights.

Market share 8.8 percent

Total of 2.0 million registered bed nights (+132.5 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 1.8 million nights (+133.8 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 247,000 nights (+123.6 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Trøndelag out of total registered bed nights was 8.8 % (-1.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 9.4 % and foreign bed nights 4.7 %.

103,000 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 160 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 95.3 percent were domestic, and 4.7 percent were from foreign countries.

During November, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Trøndelag on average 1.7 nights (-0.37) and foreigners 2.4 nights (-1.5).

Registered accommodation sales in November were 140.8 million crowns (+89.3 million).

Registered January-November sales were 1.1 billion crowns and they increased 258.0 million euro from the previous year.
