Registered bed nights increased 128 percent
In March 2022, 177,000 registered bed nights were recorded in Trøndelag (+128.2 %), of which 163,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 13,800 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 131 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 102 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 128 percent from last year's March.
61,500 nights (+120.3 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 63,400 nights (+109.3 %) by business visitors.
Between January and March, 354,000 registered bed nights (+91.1 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 33,900 (+76.0 %) for foreigners in Trøndelag, in total 387,000 (+89.7 %) registered nights.

Length of stay was 1.9 nights in registered accommodation
Length of stay in registered accommodation decreased 13 percent compared to earlier year. In Trøndelag, length of stay in March was on average 1.9 nights and in Norway 2.1 nights (-23.5 %).
During March, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Trøndelag on average 1.9 nights (-18.3 %) and foreigners 2.3 nights (-25.4 %).

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 161 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 93.5 percent were domestic, and 6.5 percent were from foreign countries.
During March, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Trøndelag on average 1.9 nights (-0.32) and foreigners 2.3 nights (+0.3).
