82,800 registered bed nights

In June 2021, 82,800 registered bed nights were recorded in Trondheim, of which 74,500 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 8,300 nights by foreigners.

37,400 nights were spend by leisure visitors and 27,200 nights by business visitors.

Between January and June, 250,000 registered bed nights were recorded for domestic visitors and 27,400 for foreigners in Trondheim, in total 277,000 registered nights.

Total of 2.8 million registered bed nights (+18.1 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.6 million nights (+18.5 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 143,000 nights (+11.9 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Trondheim out of total registered bed nights was 3.0 % (+0.1 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 2.8 % and foreign bed nights 5.8 %.

46,000 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Of all registered arrivals, 94.0 percent were domestic, and 6.0 percent were from foreign countries.

During June, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Trondheim on average 1.7 nights and foreigners 3.0 nights.
