Trosa: Tourism in a nutshell
Registered accommodation. All changes are relative to the same period a year ago.
8,200 registered bed nights
In May 2022, 8,200 registered bed nights were recorded in Trosa (-0.5 %), of which 7,700 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 490 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased four percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 99 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased less than one percent from last year's May.
Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Germany (172 nights).
2,600 rooms (+27.2 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 167 rooms (+57.9 %) by business visitors.
Between January and May, 20,900 registered bed nights (+25.3 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 1,300 (+20.4 %) for foreigners in Trosa, in total 22,200 (+25.0 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased one percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 94.3 percent were domestic, and 5.7 percent were from foreign countries.
During May, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Trosa on average 1.7 nights (-0.04) and foreigners 1.7 nights (+0.25).
