Paid bed nights

6,200 registered bed nights

In May 2019, 6,200 registered bed nights were recorded in Trosa (-25.1 %), of which 5,800 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 440 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 27 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 10 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 25 percent from last year's May.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Croatia (120 nights).

2,000 rooms (+4.3 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 350 rooms (-26.9 %) by business visitors.

Between January and May, 14,700 registered bed nights (-16.4 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 910 (+39.8 %) for foreigners in Trosa, in total 15,600 (-14.4 %) registered nights.

Total of 5.3 million registered bed nights (+3.0 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 4.1 million nights (+6.1 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 1.3 million nights (-5.8 %) by foreigners.

Length of stay in registered accommodation decreased 26 percent compared to earlier year. In Trosa, length of stay in May was on average 2.1 nights and in Sweden 1.8 nights (-5.1 %).

During May, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Trosa on average 2.0 nights (-14.8 %) and foreigners 3.9 nights (+17.4 %).

3,000 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased two percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 96.2 percent were domestic, and 3.8 percent were from foreign countries.
