Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased 14 percent

In November 2019, 3,200 registered bed nights were recorded in Trosa (+14.1 %), of which 3,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 175 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 10 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 230 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 14 percent from last year's November.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Norway (125 nights).

1,400 rooms (+2.4 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 270 rooms (-20.5 %) by business visitors.

Between January and November, 53,000 registered bed nights (-21.7 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 10,500 (+50.6 %) for foreigners in Trosa, in total 63,500 (-15.0 %) registered nights.

Total of 3.6 million registered bed nights (+3.1 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.9 million nights (+5.9 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 731,000 nights (-6.7 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Trosa out of total registered bed nights was 0.1 % (0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.0 %.

Length of stay increased 16 percent in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased 16 percent compared to earlier year. In Trosa, length of stay in November was on average 1.4 nights and in Sweden 1.8 nights (+0.6 %).

During November, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Trosa on average 1.4 nights (-16.8 %) and foreigners 1.4 nights (+5.2 %).

2,200 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased one percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 94.5 percent were domestic, and 5.5 percent were from foreign countries.

During November, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Trosa on average 1.4 nights (+0.2) and foreigners 1.4 nights (+0.18).
