Registered bed nights increased 49 percent

In April 2022, 5,300 registered bed nights were recorded in Trosa (+48.9 %), of which 5,100 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 240 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 51 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 11 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 49 percent from last year's April.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Norway (183 nights).

1,800 rooms (+20.6 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 83 rooms (+97.6 %) by business visitors.

Between January and April, 13,300 registered bed nights (+51.6 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 760 (-3.9 %) for foreigners in Trosa, in total 14,000 (+46.9 %) registered nights.

Total of 4.2 million registered bed nights (+64.6 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.4 million nights (+46.2 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 791,000 nights (+260.6 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Trosa out of total registered bed nights was 0.1 % (-0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.0 %.

Length of stay increased 33 percent in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased 33 percent compared to earlier year. In Trosa, length of stay in April was on average 1.9 nights and in Sweden 1.9 nights (-23.8 %).

During April, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Trosa on average 1.9 nights (+17.5 %) and foreigners 1.6 nights (+21.3 %).

2,800 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 12 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 94.4 percent were domestic, and 5.6 percent were from foreign countries.
