2,700 registered bed nights (May)
In May 2020, 2,700 bed nights were recorded in Turku Archipelago (-61.3 %), of which 2,600 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 94 nights by foreigners. Domestic bed nights decreased 48 percent and foreign bed nights decreased 95 percent. In total, bed nights decreased 61 percent from last year's May.
Most foreign bed nights were recorded for travelers from Estonia (71 nights).
2,100 nights (-60.7 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 620 nights (-63.4 %) by business visitors.
Between January and May, 10,600 bed nights (-22.2 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 1,600 (-64.9 %) for foreigners in Turku Archipelago, in total 12,200 (-32.8 %) nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, motels, guest houses, hostels, holiday villages and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 20 beds or caravan lots with an electrical connection point are excluded.

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 66 percent compared to earlier year. Of all arrivals, 92.3 percent were domestic, and 7.7 percent were from foreign countries.
During May, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Turku Archipelago on average 2.9 nights (+0.8) and foreigners 1.3 nights (-2.6).
