Registered bed nights increased 19 percent
In June 2019, 19,600 bed nights were recorded in Turku Archipelago (+18.9 %), of which 17,600 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 2,000 nights by foreigners. Domestic bed nights increased 25 percent and foreign bed nights decreased 18 percent. In total, bed nights increased 19 percent from last year's June.
Most foreign bed nights were recorded for travelers from Estonia (540 nights).
17,100 nights (+19.8 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 2,500 nights (+12.7 %) by business visitors.
Between January and June, 31,300 bed nights (+11.5 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 6,500 (-1.8 %) for foreigners in Turku Archipelago, in total 37,800 (+9.0 %) nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, motels, guest houses, hostels, holiday villages and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 20 beds or caravan lots with an electrical connection point are excluded.

9,500 tourists arrived to accommodation
Arrivals to registered accommodation increased seven percent compared to earlier year. Of all arrivals, 90.1 percent were domestic, and 9.9 percent were from foreign countries.
During June, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Turku Archipelago on average 2.1 nights (+0.25) and foreigners 2.1 nights (-0.11).

Accommodation sales 619,000 euro
Registered accommodation sales in June were 619,000 euro (+80,400).
Registered January-June sales were 1.3 million euro and they increased 173,000 euro from the previous year.
