Registered bed nights increased 26 percent
In November 2019, 2,900 bed nights were recorded in Turku Archipelago (+25.7 %), of which 2,300 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 580 nights by foreigners. Domestic bed nights increased 26 percent and foreign bed nights increased 26 percent. In total, bed nights increased 26 percent from last year's November.
Most foreign bed nights were recorded for travelers from Estonia (400 nights).
1,700 nights (+39.7 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 1,200 nights (+9.9 %) by business visitors.
Between January and November, 97,200 bed nights (+20.0 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 17,600 (-5.7 %) for foreigners in Turku Archipelago, in total 115,000 (+15.1 %) nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, motels, guest houses, hostels, holiday villages and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 20 beds or caravan lots with an electrical connection point are excluded.

1,200 tourists arrived to accommodation
Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 23 percent compared to earlier year. Of all arrivals, 92.7 percent were domestic, and 7.3 percent were from foreign countries.
During November, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Turku Archipelago on average 2.0 nights (+0.05) and foreigners 6.3 nights (-0.38).

Accommodation sales 90,300 euro
Registered accommodation sales in November were 90,300 euro (+13,800).
Registered January-November sales were 3.6 million euro and they increased 270,000 euro from the previous year.
