Paid bed nights
Registered bed nights increased 18 percent
In June 2020, 23,100 registered bed nights were recorded in Turku Archipelago (+18.2 %), of which 22,500 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 630 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 28 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 68 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 18 percent from last year's June.
22,100 nights (+29.2 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 1,100 nights (-56.6 %) by business visitors.
Between January and June, 33,400 registered bed nights (+6.8 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 4,200 (-34.6 %) for foreigners in Turku Archipelago, in total 37,700 (-0.3 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, motels, guest houses, hostels, holiday villages and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 20 beds or caravan lots with an electrical connection point are excluded.

Length of stay was 1.6 nights in registered accommodation
Length of stay in registered accommodation decreased 23 percent compared to earlier year. In Turku Archipelago, length of stay in June was on average 1.6 nights and in Finland 1.9 nights (+4.2 %).
During June, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Turku Archipelago on average 1.6 nights (-11.1 %) and foreigners 1.8 nights (+58.8 %).
14,500 tourists arrived to registered accommodation
Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 53 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 97.6 percent were domestic, and 2.4 percent were from foreign countries.
During June, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Turku Archipelago on average 1.6 nights (-0.48) and foreigners 1.8 nights (-0.29).
