Registered bed nights increased 53 percent
In April 2021, 12,700 registered bed nights were recorded in Uddevalla (+53.4 %), of which 12,400 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 300 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 58 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 33 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 53 percent from last year's April.
Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Norway (108 nights).
2,200 rooms (+45.8 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 970 rooms (+35.6 %) by business visitors.
Between January and April, 30,000 registered bed nights (-12.3 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 950 (-85.7 %) for foreigners in Uddevalla, in total 30,900 (-24.2 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels, campsites, and commercially arranged rentals in private cottages and apartments. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 92 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 98.6 percent were domestic, and 1.4 percent were from foreign countries.
During April, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Uddevalla on average 2.1 nights (-0.5) and foreigners 3.6 nights (-0.93).
