15,100 registered bed nights

In September 2020, 15,100 registered bed nights were recorded in Uddevalla (-34.2 %), of which 14,200 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 890 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 23 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 81 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 34 percent from last year's September.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Germany (340 nights).

4,000 rooms (-30.3 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,800 rooms (-63.0 %) by business visitors.

Between January and September, 251,000 registered bed nights (-15.8 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 12,100 (-84.3 %) for foreigners in Uddevalla, in total 263,000 (-29.8 %) registered nights.

Total of 3.1 million registered bed nights (-30.6 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.7 million nights (-19.9 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 441,000 nights (-61.9 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Uddevalla out of total registered bed nights was 0.5 % (-0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.5 % and foreign bed nights 0.2 %.

7,700 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 36 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 95.8 percent were domestic, and 4.2 percent were from foreign countries.

During September, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Uddevalla on average 1.9 nights (+0.07) and foreigners 2.7 nights (+0.52).
