53,200 registered bed nights

In June 2019, 53,200 registered bed nights were recorded in Uddevalla (-11.5 %), of which 43,500 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 9,700 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 11 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 15 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 11 percent from last year's June.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Norway (5,000 nights).

7,000 rooms (+30.7 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 2,400 rooms (-25.1 %) by business visitors.

Between January and June, 125,000 registered bed nights (-15.3 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 19,800 (-30.3 %) for foreigners in Uddevalla, in total 145,000 (-17.7 %) registered nights.

Total of 7.1 million registered bed nights (+7.5 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 5.0 million nights (+8.2 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 2.1 million nights (+5.9 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Uddevalla out of total registered bed nights was 0.7 % (-0.2 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.9 % and foreign bed nights 0.5 %.

Length of stay increased 24 percent in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased 24 percent compared to earlier year. In Uddevalla, length of stay in June was on average 2.5 nights and in Sweden 2.1 nights (+4.2 %).

During June, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Uddevalla on average 2.6 nights (+19.3 %) and foreigners 2.2 nights (+4.4 %).

21,200 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 28 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 79.0 percent were domestic, and 21.0 percent were from foreign countries.

During June, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Uddevalla on average 2.6 nights (+0.57) and foreigners 2.2 nights (+0.12).
