Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased 121 percent

In December 2021, 9,100 registered bed nights were recorded in Uddevalla (+121.4 %), of which 8,400 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 660 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 115 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 250 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 121 percent from last year's December.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Denmark (220 nights).

2,800 rooms (+136.2 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,700 rooms (+189.9 %) by business visitors.

Between January and December, 324,000 registered bed nights (+18.3 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 26,200 (+96.6 %) for foreigners in Uddevalla, in total 350,000 (+21.9 %) registered nights.

Total of 3.4 million registered bed nights (+85.2 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.8 million nights (+74.9 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 553,000 nights (+166.0 %) by foreigners.

Length of stay in registered accommodation decreased 37 percent compared to earlier year. In Uddevalla, length of stay in December was on average 2.2 nights and in Sweden 2.1 nights (-24.9 %).

During December, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Uddevalla on average 2.1 nights (-1.2 %) and foreigners 5.1 nights (-42.7 %).
