Registered bed nights increased 26 percent

In January 2022, 3,100 registered bed nights were recorded in Ulricehamn (+25.7 %), of which 2,900 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 230 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 19 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 260 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 26 percent from last year's January.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Denmark (84 nights).

730 rooms (+77.0 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 310 rooms (-5.0 %) by business visitors.

Total of 2.4 million registered bed nights (+6.0 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.0 million nights (-3.7 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 405,000 nights (+108.0 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Ulricehamn out of total registered bed nights was 0.1 % (0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.1 %.

1,500 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 52 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 91.1 percent were domestic, and 8.9 percent were from foreign countries.

During January, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Ulricehamn on average 2.0 nights (-0.43) and foreigners 1.7 nights (+0.29).
