Registered bed nights increased 42 percent

In June 2022, 9,700 registered bed nights were recorded in Ulricehamn (+41.9 %), of which 8,100 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 1,500 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 24 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 480 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 42 percent from last year's June.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Germany (670 nights).

1,300 rooms (+174.7 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,400 rooms (+175.5 %) by business visitors.

Between January and June, 31,000 registered bed nights (+31.5 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 4,600 (+345.6 %) for foreigners in Ulricehamn, in total 35,600 (+44.7 %) registered nights.

Total of 6.9 million registered bed nights (+39.7 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 5.2 million nights (+17.3 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 1.6 million nights (+259.5 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Ulricehamn out of total registered bed nights was 0.1 % (0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.2 % and foreign bed nights 0.1 %.

2,900 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 170 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 81.8 percent were domestic, and 18.2 percent were from foreign countries.

During June, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Ulricehamn on average 3.4 nights (-2.9) and foreigners 2.9 nights (-2.7).
