Registered bed nights increased three percent

In October 2019, 5,600 bed nights were recorded in Upplands-Bro (+2.7 %), of which 5,600 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 4.0 nights by foreigners. Domestic bed nights increased five percent and foreign bed nights decreased 96 percent. In total, bed nights increased three percent from last year's October.

Most foreign bed nights were recorded for travelers from Poland (4.0 nights).

750 rooms (+51.0 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 4,300 rooms (-5.3 %) by business visitors.

Between January and October, 41,600 bed nights (+1.9 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 650 (-11.1 %) for foreigners in Upplands-Bro, in total 42,300 (+1.7 %) nights.

Market share 0.1 percent

Total of 4.1 million bed nights (+3.8 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.1 million nights (+5.8 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 936,000 nights (-2.2 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Upplands-Bro out of total bed nights was 0.1 % (-0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.2 % and foreign bed nights 0.0 %.

4,500 tourists arrived to accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased two percent compared to earlier year. Of all arrivals, 100.0 percent were domestic, and 0.0 percent were from foreign countries.

During October, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Upplands-Bro on average 1.2 nights (+0.07) and foreigners 2.0 nights (-0.27).
