Paid bed nights
Registered bed nights increased 39 percent
In March 2023, 4,300 registered bed nights were recorded in Upplands-Bro (+39.3 %), of which 4,200 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 73 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 39 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 30 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 39 percent from last year's March.
Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from United Kingdom (12 nights).
450 rooms (+38.3 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 3,600 rooms (+44.9 %) by business visitors.
Between January and March, 9,900 registered bed nights (+104.5 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 199 (+68.6 %) for foreigners in Upplands-Bro, in total 10,100 (+103.6 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.

Length of stay was 1.2 nights in registered accommodation
Length of stay in registered accommodation decreased less than one percent compared to earlier year. In Upplands-Bro, length of stay in March was on average 1.2 nights and in Sweden 1.9 nights (-6.3 %).
During March, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Upplands-Bro on average 1.2 nights (+0.4 %) and foreigners 1.7 nights (-11.6 %).
3,500 tourists arrived to registered accommodation
Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 39 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 98.8 percent were domestic, and 1.2 percent were from foreign countries.
During March, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Upplands-Bro on average 1.2 nights (0.0) and foreigners 1.7 nights (-0.09).
