Registered bed nights increased 380 percent

In May 2022, 7,100 registered bed nights were recorded in Upplands-Bro (+375.1 %), of which 7,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 120 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 380 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 193 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 380 percent from last year's May.

440 rooms (-3.1 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 5,800 rooms (+666.7 %) by business visitors.

Between January and May, 15,500 registered bed nights (+351.1 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 290 (+82.4 %) for foreigners in Upplands-Bro, in total 15,800 (+339.2 %) registered nights.

Market share 0.1 percent

Total of 5.4 million registered bed nights (+64.2 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 4.4 million nights (+46.9 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 993,000 nights (+241.6 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Upplands-Bro out of total registered bed nights was 0.1 % (+0.1 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.2 % and foreign bed nights 0.0 %.

5,700 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 470 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 99.1 percent were domestic, and 0.9 percent were from foreign countries.

During May, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Upplands-Bro on average 1.2 nights (-0.22) and foreigners 2.3 nights (-2.3).
