Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased 19 percent

In November 2018, 5,300 registered bed nights were recorded in Upplands-Bro (+18.6 %), of which 5,100 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 187 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 25 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 49 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 19 percent from last year's November.

620 rooms (+12.5 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 4,400 rooms (+17.1 %) by business visitors.

Between January and November, 46,000 registered bed nights were recorded for domestic visitors and 920 for foreigners in Upplands-Bro, in total 46,900 registered nights.

Total of 3.5 million registered bed nights (+2.3 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.7 million nights (+0.4 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 784,000 nights (+9.6 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Upplands-Bro out of total registered bed nights was 0.2 % (0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.2 % and foreign bed nights 0.0 %.

Length of stay increased three percent in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased three percent compared to earlier year. In Upplands-Bro, length of stay in November was on average 1.3 nights and in Sweden 1.8 nights (-2.5 %).

During November, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Upplands-Bro on average 1.2 nights and foreigners 1.5 nights .

4,200 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 16 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 97.1 percent were domestic, and 2.9 percent were from foreign countries.

During November, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Upplands-Bro on average 1.2 nights (+0.04) and foreigners 1.5 nights (+0.11).
