Registered bed nights increased 42 percent
In October 2021, 82,600 registered bed nights were recorded in Uppsala County (+41.5 %), of which 73,400 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 9,200 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 38 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 77 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 42 percent from last year's October.
Between January and October, 740,000 registered bed nights (+10.4 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 58,100 (+47.4 %) for foreigners in Uppsala County, in total 798,000 (+12.4 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels, campsites, and commercially arranged rentals in private cottages and apartments. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.
