Registered bed nights increased four percent
In November 2019, 72,700 bed nights were recorded in Uppsala County (+3.8 %), of which 63,800 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 8,900 nights by foreigners. Domestic bed nights increased three percent and foreign bed nights increased six percent. In total, bed nights increased four percent from last year's November.
Between January and November, 926,000 bed nights (-1.5 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 151,000 (+11.6 %) for foreigners in Uppsala County, in total 1.1 million (+0.2 %) nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels, campsites, and commercially arranged rentals in private cottages and apartments. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.
