Registered bed nights increased 60 percent
In January 2022, 41,900 registered bed nights were recorded in Uppsala County (+60.1 %), of which 37,200 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 4,700 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 55 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 111 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 60 percent from last year's January.
13,500 rooms were booked by leisure visitors and 10,300 rooms by business visitors.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.
