Registered bed nights increased 108 percent
In March 2022, 70,400 registered bed nights were recorded in Uppsala County (+107.6 %), of which 62,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 8,400 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 97 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 250 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 108 percent from last year's March.
19,400 rooms were booked by leisure visitors and 27,400 rooms by business visitors.
Between January and March, 141,000 registered bed nights (+65.0 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 17,800 (+159.2 %) for foreigners in Uppsala County, in total 158,000 (+72.0 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.
