1,700 registered bed nights
In March 2020, 1,700 bed nights were recorded in Vadstena (-16.0 %), of which 1,600 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 64 nights by foreigners. Domestic bed nights decreased 10 percent and foreign bed nights decreased 70 percent. In total, bed nights decreased 16 percent from last year's March.
840 rooms (-6.2 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 280 rooms (-39.7 %) by business visitors.
Between January and March, 6,300 bed nights (+16.6 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 590 (-11.3 %) for foreigners in Vadstena, in total 6,900 (+13.5 %) nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels, campsites, and commercially arranged rentals in private cottages and apartments. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 26 percent compared to earlier year. Of all arrivals, 96.6 percent were domestic, and 3.4 percent were from foreign countries.
During March, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Vadstena on average 1.4 nights (+0.15) and foreigners 1.6 nights (+0.43).
