Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased nine percent

In March 2019, 2,000 registered bed nights were recorded in Vadstena (+8.7 %), of which 1,800 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 220 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased seven percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 21 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased nine percent from last year's March.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from United Kingdom (59 nights).

880 rooms (+3.4 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 450 rooms (+14.2 %) by business visitors.

Between January and March, 5,400 registered bed nights (+2.0 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 660 (+52.2 %) for foreigners in Vadstena, in total 6,100 (+5.9 %) registered nights.

Length of stay in registered accommodation decreased nine percent compared to earlier year. In Vadstena, length of stay in March was on average 1.3 nights and in Sweden 2.2 nights (-4.6 %).
