Registered bed nights increased 57 percent
In May 2021, 10,100 registered bed nights were recorded in Vadstena (+57.5 %), of which 10,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 104 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 57 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 79 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 57 percent from last year's May.
Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Germany (20 nights).
1,900 rooms (+113.3 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 210 rooms (+160.0 %) by business visitors.
Between January and May, 16,300 registered bed nights (+18.2 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 290 (-57.1 %) for foreigners in Vadstena, in total 16,600 (+14.7 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.
