In August 2021, 21,000 registered bed nights were recorded in Vadstena (-23.4 %), of which 19,600 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 1,400 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 27 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 134 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 23 percent from last year's August.
4,900 rooms (+21.8 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 630 rooms (-13.0 %) by business visitors.
Between January and August, 82,800 registered bed nights (-3.7 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 3,300 (+84.0 %) for foreigners in Vadstena, in total 86,100 (-1.9 %) registered nights.
