Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased 31 percent

In November 2020, 3,500 registered bed nights were recorded in Værnes Region (+30.8 %), of which 3,500 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 9.0 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 34 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 88 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 31 percent from last year's November.

148 nights (-49.3 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 420 nights (+50.2 %) by business visitors.

Between January and November, 84,900 registered bed nights (-3.8 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 2,900 (-55.4 %) for foreigners in Værnes Region, in total 87,800 (-7.4 %) registered nights.

Total of 861,000 registered bed nights (-56.5 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 751,000 nights (-54.4 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 111,000 nights (-67.1 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Værnes Region out of total registered bed nights was 0.4 % (+0.3 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.5 % and foreign bed nights 0.0 %.

Length of stay increased 320 percent in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased 320 percent compared to earlier year. In Værnes Region, length of stay in November was on average 44 nights and in Norway 2.4 nights (+37.9 %).

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 69 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 100.0 percent were domestic, and 0.0 percent were from foreign countries.
