Registered bed nights increased 80 percent
In September 2021, 12,100 registered bed nights were recorded in Vaggeryd (+79.6 %), of which 11,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 1,100 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 79 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 81 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 80 percent from last year's September.
2,700 rooms (+19.1 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 2,900 rooms (+66.0 %) by business visitors.
Between January and September, 72,000 registered bed nights (+47.1 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 8,000 (+123.0 %) for foreigners in Vaggeryd, in total 80,000 (+52.3 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels, campsites, and commercially arranged rentals in private cottages and apartments. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 29 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 91.6 percent were domestic, and 8.4 percent were from foreign countries.
During September, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Vaggeryd on average 2.3 nights (+0.68) and foreigners 2.5 nights (+0.04).
