Registered bed nights increased 13 percent
In March 2020, 3,600 bed nights were recorded in Vaggeryd (+13.2 %), of which 3,500 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 62 nights by foreigners. Domestic bed nights increased 17 percent and foreign bed nights decreased 58 percent. In total, bed nights increased 13 percent from last year's March.
690 rooms (+12.8 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,600 rooms (+9.6 %) by business visitors.
Between January and March, 12,600 bed nights (+44.5 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 300 (-51.4 %) for foreigners in Vaggeryd, in total 12,900 (+38.2 %) nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels, campsites, and commercially arranged rentals in private cottages and apartments. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 11 percent compared to earlier year. Of all arrivals, 97.5 percent were domestic, and 2.5 percent were from foreign countries.
During March, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Vaggeryd on average 1.7 nights (+0.42) and foreigners 1.2 nights (-2.2).
