Registered bed nights increased 68 percent
In April 2021, 5,800 registered bed nights were recorded in Vaggeryd (+68.3 %), of which 5,700 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 127 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 66 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 240 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 68 percent from last year's April.
1,800 rooms (+69.4 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 850 rooms (+13.6 %) by business visitors.
Between January and April, 16,700 registered bed nights (+4.2 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 490 (+46.7 %) for foreigners in Vaggeryd, in total 17,200 (+5.1 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels, campsites, and commercially arranged rentals in private cottages and apartments. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 10 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 98.5 percent were domestic, and 1.5 percent were from foreign countries.
During April, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Vaggeryd on average 2.4 nights (+0.81) and foreigners 3.5 nights (+2.5).
