Registered bed nights increased 220 percent
In December 2021, 7,300 registered bed nights were recorded in Vaggeryd (+214.9 %), of which 6,200 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 1,100 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 190 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 530 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 220 percent from last year's December.
2,000 rooms (+118.8 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,500 rooms (+352.5 %) by business visitors.
Between January and December, 97,800 registered bed nights (+67.1 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 11,900 (+164.5 %) for foreigners in Vaggeryd, in total 110,000 (+74.1 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels, campsites, and commercially arranged rentals in private cottages and apartments. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 141 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 93.8 percent were domestic, and 6.2 percent were from foreign countries.
During December, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Vaggeryd on average 2.0 nights (+0.39) and foreigners 5.3 nights (+1.3).
