Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased 12 percent

In April 2019, 4,000 registered bed nights were recorded in Vaggeryd (+11.8 %), of which 3,900 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 143 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 12 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased one percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 12 percent from last year's April.

1,100 rooms (+28.4 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,200 rooms (-8.1 %) by business visitors.

Between January and April, 12,600 registered bed nights (-5.7 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 760 (+53.4 %) for foreigners in Vaggeryd, in total 13,400 (-3.6 %) registered nights.

Total of 4.3 million registered bed nights (+5.2 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.3 million nights (+4.2 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 953,000 nights (+8.6 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Vaggeryd out of total registered bed nights was 0.1 % (0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.0 %.

Length of stay increased 21 percent in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased 21 percent compared to earlier year. In Vaggeryd, length of stay in April was on average 1.6 nights and in Sweden 2.1 nights (+1.4 %).

During April, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Vaggeryd on average 1.6 nights (+8.8 %) and foreigners 1.6 nights (+0.5 %).

2,600 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased eight percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 96.6 percent were domestic, and 3.4 percent were from foreign countries.
