In August 2019, 13,500 registered bed nights were recorded in Valdemarsvik (+4.6 %), of which 9,100 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 4,400 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased two percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 22 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased five percent from last year's August.
Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Germany (2,900 nights).

Length of stay increased one percent in registered accommodation
Length of stay in registered accommodation increased one percent compared to earlier year. In Valdemarsvik, length of stay in August was on average 2.4 nights and in Sweden 2.2 nights (+0.4 %).
