Registered bed nights increased 17 percent
In September 2021, 55,600 registered bed nights were recorded in Valdres (+16.6 %), of which 52,300 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 3,200 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 11 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 540 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 17 percent from last year's September.
18,500 nights (+2.3 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 560 nights (-61.3 %) by business visitors.
Between January and September, 483,000 registered bed nights (+40.1 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 14,500 (-56.0 %) for foreigners in Valdres, in total 497,000 (+31.7 %) registered nights.

Length of stay increased 10 percent in registered accommodation
Length of stay in registered accommodation increased 10 percent compared to earlier year. In Valdres, length of stay in September was on average 2.8 nights and in Norway 2.0 nights (-3.8 %).
During September, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Valdres on average 2.9 nights (+17.0 %) and foreigners 1.8 nights (-41.3 %).
