6,900 registered bed nights

In March 2020, 6,900 registered bed nights were recorded in Vänersborg (-28.6 %), of which 6,400 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 500 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 23 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 64 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 29 percent from last year's March.

950 rooms (-52.3 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,400 rooms (-29.8 %) by business visitors.

Between January and March, 22,100 registered bed nights (+6.9 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 3,000 (-2.5 %) for foreigners in Vänersborg, in total 25,100 (+5.7 %) registered nights.

Length of stay increased 39 percent in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased 39 percent compared to earlier year. In Vänersborg, length of stay in March was on average 3.4 nights and in Sweden 2.7 nights (+19.0 %).

During March, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Vänersborg on average 3.7 nights (+10.1 %) and foreigners 1.8 nights (+14.9 %).
