2,200 registered bed nights

In October 2019, 2,200 bed nights were recorded in Vara, of which 1,900 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 280 nights by foreigners.

Most foreign bed nights were recorded for travelers from Denmark (64 nights).

660 rooms were booked by leisure visitors and 1,000 rooms by business visitors.

Between January and October, 21,900 bed nights were recorded for domestic visitors and 2,100 for foreigners in Vara, in total 24,000 nights.

Total of 4.1 million bed nights (+3.8 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.1 million nights (+5.8 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 936,000 nights (-2.2 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Vara out of total bed nights was 0.1 %, out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.0 %.

1,400 tourists arrived to accommodation

Of all arrivals, 89.2 percent were domestic, and 10.8 percent were from foreign countries.

During October, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Vara on average 1.5 nights and foreigners 1.9 nights.
