2,800 registered bed nights

In September 2021, 2,800 registered bed nights were recorded in Vara, of which 2,700 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 167 nights by foreigners.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Norway (36 nights).

1,100 rooms were booked by leisure visitors and 950 rooms by business visitors.

Between January and September, 17,700 registered bed nights were recorded for domestic visitors and 1,500 for foreigners in Vara, in total 19,300 registered nights.

Total of 4.1 million registered bed nights (+30.6 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.4 million nights (+24.9 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 723,000 nights (+65.9 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Vara out of total registered bed nights was 0.1 %, out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.0 %.

1,800 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Of all registered arrivals, 95.1 percent were domestic, and 4.9 percent were from foreign countries.

During September, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Vara on average 1.6 nights and foreigners 1.9 nights.
